Toffee Bits Cookies Heath Bar Cookies
These are buttery, flavorful and nutty toffee bits cookies.
What is toffee?
Toffee is a sweet treat made by heating butter and sugar together to what is called the "hard crack stage" and
then allowing this mixture to cool.
For this toffee cookie recipe, you will use Heath Bar bits.
The Heath Bar is a well known American candy made from toffee and chocolate.
Toffee bits - Heath Bar bits - are seasonal in most places and can usually be found only around
the Christmas holiday. If that is also the case where you live, you can just buy a Heath Bar and cut
it into tiny pieces. One bag of toffee bits is equal to 1 1/2 cups of Heath Bar morsels.
