Some Quick Bread Recipes for You

In this section you will find some quick bread recipes.

If you are not familiar with the term "quick bread" then let's take a closer look at the term.

Quick breads - in contrast to yeast breads - are not made with active dry yeast and therefore they are much quicker to prepare. Usually baking powder or baking soda are used as a leavening agent instead of the yeast.

Quick breads are often times more like a dessert bread for they are sweet and often have fruits or nuts in them.

Famous examples of quick breads are:

  • Banana nut bread

  • Pumpkin bread

  • Cranberry bread

  • Zucchini bread

I know what you are thinking..."yum"...right? So let's get to some quick bread recipes...if you are the owner of a delicious quick bread recipe - or even more than one - please share it! You can leave your recipe as well as a comment or a review here.
