Recipe for Chocolate Pecan Pie





This is an easy and delicious recipe for chocolate pecan pie. And as far as pecan pies go, the chocolate adds a nice twist.

Even if you are a novice at baking this chocolate pecan pie will be a success. It is very easy to make. I had rave reviews the first time I made it for Christmas and considering I am not "a chef," I am certain you will as well.

So go ahead give it a try and then come back to leave A note of caution: This chocolate pecan pie recipe is for 2 pies!

Chocolate Pecan Pie Ingredients


  • 3 cups of white sugar

  • 1/8 tsp. of salt

  • 4 large eggs

  • 1 can of evaporated milk

  • 1 stick of butter - 1/2 cup

  • 1 1/2 cups of pecan halves









Recipe for Chocolate Pecan Pie: Method

In a bowl, mix the sugar and the eggs until well blended. Add the remaining ingredients - except for the pecans - and mix thoroughly.

Place 1/2 of the pecans in each baking dish. Divide this mixture between the two pie crusts.

Bake in a preheated oven at 350 degrees for about 50 minutes.

Cool completely before serving.

Makes two pies.
