Homemade Pudding Recipes

Wouldn't you say that as with anything...homemade is best? And homemade pudding is no exception.

You know it is so much better than the preservative laden commercial brands. Moreover, pudding makes a great comfort food.

Pudding - like anything else - comes in many varieties and flavors as well as from many different countries...

For examples, what about a southern corn pudding from the good old USA? Or what about a homemade chocolate pudding - good anywhere in the world no? Yum!

There is more: what about a recipe for homemade banana pudding or a recipe for Indian pudding? There is also rice or bread pudding.

Really there are flavors and textures to satisfy any palate. Which one do you prefer?

Personally, when I hear pudding I think of my childhood in France and my Mamie's - grand-mother - rice pudding topped with caramel...de-li-cious!

I also think about creamy, decadent, chocolate pudding which truly should be a staple around any chocolate lover's home.

However as of the spring of 2009, I have a new love...Indian pudding. I discovered it when a wonderful lady from India decided to make dinner for us. I fell in love with this "noodle" pudding and so did one of my twin boys - 16 months old the time - so I asked for the recipe.

My friend gracioulsy gave it to me and now I am happy to share it with you as well.
