Instructions For This Chocolate Pudding RecipeMix the sugar, cornstarch, cocoa, salt, milk, and heavy cream in a pan. Blend well and continue stirring so that nothing sticks to the bottom. Place on the stove top on medium heat and heat through. Add the egg yolks one at a time and blend thoroughly after each addition Add the chocolate morsels and stir until melted. When the pudding has thickened, remove from heat. Add the butter and the vanilla. Serve warm or cold. At my house we like it much better cold. It seems the chocolate flavor is much richer when cold.
