Easy Pie Crust Recipe

You want an easy pie crust recipe made with butter? Here it is. Easy, flaky, yummy...

...perfect!

This is a basic pie crust that is pretty simple to make. I make this pie crust recipe with a stand mixer. It is easy and convenient.

However, I will also include instructions in case you want - or have - to make your pie crust by hand. Be assured that it is not hard.

So how do you make pie crust?

Quite easily with the right pie crust recipe.

A homemade pie crust recipe should come out flaky and moist. It should be pliable and easy to handle. It might take some getting use to when you first roll it out and a pastry "sock" - also known as a rolling pin cover - might come in handy. You may also find it easier to use pastry mat

In order to roll this simple pie crust recipe, I just use a wooden rolling pin and some unbleached flour...that's all, nothing fancy (although I'd love a marble one!)

Note: You must be made aware though that the more times you need to roll your pie crust out the tougher it will get. So rolling it out correctly the first time is pretty important no matter what pie crust recipe you use.

If you have another simple and easy pie crust recipe with butter please don't hesitate and share it! Your comments, tips and tricks, as well as your reviews are always welcome and don't forget, I do love seeing pictures of your culinary creations!
