The first time I heard of "cheesecake," I was a school exchange student from France living in the Midwest.

"Cheese...cake" as in cheese?

I could picture our French cheeses blended into a cake and the thought was far from appetizing...yuck was more like it. But I trusted the person I was with and decided to give it a try...and I fell in love.

I don't know what it is about cheesecakes but I love them....the texture, the favors...yum!

Since that time - back in 1985 - I have enjoyed many various cheesecake recipes. There are so many flavors and varieties. Enough to satisfy any taste buds.
