I know of one family that ALWAYS make homemade gifts for Christmas to give to their extended family - grandparents, cousins, aunts, etc. For them it is a tradition. That's right ...nothing store bought, it must be homemade.

Honestly, don't you think this is a wonderful tradition? What do you think? Homemade gifts are so precious. The giver actually took the time and that is more precious than money.

Think about it...if your husband, wife, best-friend - you get the point - just sent you money but never spent any time with you. I doubt that he - or she - would still be your husband - wife, best-friend, etc. Don't you agree?

You know when people truly love you, they LOVE to spend time with you. Your presence is a blessing to them...and time spent with you is a treat and a joy.

To further prove this point: a baby doesn't care how much money your bank account holds but he sure cares how much time you spend with him - or her. But I think that I am already preaching to the choir.
