Apple Oats

by Tracey
(CA)

I have an easy Breakfast/Snack: It feeds 6 to 8 people.

Bake at 350 for 20 min.

2 apples - Granny Smith / Washed, cored and cut into bite size pieces

cinnamon

apple juice concentrate

Quaker oats 1 min or 5 min

coconut oil

water

*walnuts

Since I don't measure, you will have to bear with me:
I cover the bottom of a 9x13 dish with a good layer of oats - about 2 cups?

Then I sprinkle cinnamon on top - about 1 TB?

I chop the walnuts with my chopper and put them on next.
I place the apples on next.
I pour the apple juice concentrate on top - about 1/4 cup?
I add water - about 1/2cup?

Note: I do not personally like soggy Oatmeal- so this is more like a crumble. Add more water, if you like it moist.

I add as much Coconut Oil as I can! - 1/2 c or so I just put clumps all ALL over the top.

Bake for 20 min - yum yum!
